Elena Nicolini

I was born on February 21, 1988 and live in Molveno, a beautiful village at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites.
I live the mountains at 360 degrees, in a family of true "mountaineers": dad Franco, with a resume of more than 40 years of mountain ascents all over the world; my brother Federico, who has been a member of the National Ski Mountaineering Team for many years; my mom Sandra, the real mom who always waits for us at home with a smile and a very good cake; my boyfriend Davide, a true force of nature who after a really difficult period taught us all the true value of life by defeating a very bad illness and becoming a very strong mountain guide shortly after. And then there is Trilly, my inseparable big dog.
Together we all run Rifugio Tosa Pedrotti in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites.

With a family like that, it is impossible not to go to the mountains, which is why after doing almost 10 years of alpine ski racing I also started ski mountaineering.
A whole new world opened up to me, a beautiful world of hard work but maximum freedom.
From there I started racing, but soon in 2012 came the call to the national team, and from there began a beautiful adventure in the world of racing.
For the world cup I traveled a lot, Austria, Spain, Germany, Norway, France, Andorra, I participated in 3 world cups bringing home 4 medals, in the pairs race and the team relay race.
In the world cup in Val Martello I took a silver medal in the sprint specialty, allowing me to win a specialty cup.
But my real passion is long races, in real mountains, at altitude, and this is where I took my greatest satisfaction.
