Great concert for Nepal in Vicenza Sunday, November 8th
SMALL DOLOMITES MEET THE HIMALAYA -
Sunday, November 8th, 2015, 9 pm, at the Church of San Lorenzo in Vicenza, all the mountaineering forces of Vicenza will gather together to raise funds for Nepal after the dramatic earthquake of this year.
The large internationally renowned soloists Mario Brunello (cello) and Sonig Tchakerian (violin), with the Vicenza Choir and Orchestra conducted by Giuliano Fracasso, for the first time in the history of the great musical tradition of Vicenza will perform the Double Concerto op. 102 Brahms. It will be performed always by the great German composer the Rhapsody for contralto, op. 53, with soloist Chiara Fracasso. The program will be opened by the Kyrie in D minor KV341 for chorus and orchestra by Mozart.
Among the many personalities involved the mountaineer Fausto De Stefani (Montura testimonial and founder of the Rarahil Memorial School) and Maestro Bepi De Marzi (author of Signore degli Cime and other extraordinary compositions).
Participation of all the Himalaya protagonists from Vicenza.

All proceeds will be donated to the vocational training and adoption of Nepalese girls and boys in need, through the Rarahil Memorial School.
