Carlo Zanon, ski instructor, financier, a life dedicated to the mountains. With a nickname like ‘Inox’ he is made of tough stuff; a boundless, force of nature. He is a pioneer of ski mountaineering and to hear him talk about his races and long runs on skis and skins is a privilege. And yet he is still going strong. When he puts his race bib on he never gives up, a point proven by the many wins achieved over his long career. Carlo is a man who claims little but accomplishes a lot, in recent years dedicating himself to working with young people, transmitting his enthusiasm for the mountains and the sport and earning their admiration and respect. Originally from the Fiemme Valley in Trentino, Zanon relocated to Falcade in recent years for personal reasons, setting up circuits including the 4 Valleys and Dolomites under the Stars. If ski mountaineering today has reached a certain level, the credit is partly his.
