Bio

Brought up in the foothills of the Eastern slope of Monte Rosa in the Anzasca Valley, the Italian athlete was born in Domodossola on August 14, 1987 and is one of the world’s leading players in the world ski mountaineering. Professional in the forces at the Centro Sportivo Esercito (Army Sports Centre) in Courmayeur, he is a member of the Italian National Ski Mountaineering team, and has achieved prestigious goals and won most of the world's most important competitions, such as the Mezzalama trophy, the Pierra Menta, the Tour du Rutor, the Patrouille des Glaciers, ISMF Vertical and ISMF Overall World Cups. He practice all-round mountaineering and skiing, also outside the world of racing. He enjoys freeriding, steep skiing and mountain biking.
