Born in Turin in 1976, he constitutes a team of mountain guides called Mountain-passion together with Jacopo Alaimo and Riccardo Olliveri. As opposed to his colleagues, who are both engineers, Roberto Rossi holds a university degree in biology. Being an all-round alpinist, he has accomplished ascents of all sorts and on all terrains throughout the Alps, with a special penchant for the Mont Blanc massif. Besides a good deal of climbing in Sardinia, where he has repeated the epic Hotel Supramonte, his activity outside Europe ranges from the mountains of Morocco and Kenya to the Andes as well as the Yosemite Valley (Nose on El Capitan). Be it summer or winter, rock or fresh snow, Roberto divides his days between Cervinia and Chamonix. He’s also got a great passion for free riding and steep ski-descents.
