April 28th / 8th May
DOLOMITI ART ROCK, photographic exhibition that explores the boundary between the micro and the macro world of the rocks in the Dolomites, at the exhibition space of Montagna Libri.

May 1st
18.00 at Palazzo Roccabruna, Montura Editing presents the book EUGENIO GHERSI: SULL’ALTIPIANO DELL’IO SOTTILE, the unpublished diary of the Italian scientific expedition in Western Tibet in 1933 led by Giuseppe Tucci, a first edition with comparative texts and commented on by anthropologist David Bellatalla, publication that brings out for the first time the imposing - for documentary value - work of photographs by the Archives Ghersi and IsIAO (Italian Institute for Africa and the East).

May 4th
17.30, at SALOTTO LETTERARIO, presentation of the book SKI SPIRIT. Sciare oltre le piste, the fascinating tale of a life on skis by Giorgio Daidola, Montura testimonial and explorer, with experiences that start from the sea to the great 8000 (first descent of Shisha Pangma, 1988, telemark skis!), but also as a journalist and intellectual, editor of the Rivista della Montragna in the golden age of Italian Nuovo Mattino.

May 5th
17.00, at SALOTTO LETTERARIO, Dr. Marcella Morandini, general secretary of the UNESCO Dolomites Foundation, will present the conference DolomitiArtRock: l’unità di base della bellezza – viaggio inedito fra le Dolomiti UNESCO.

May 7th
It starts at 15.15 with CORRERE PER L'ESSENZIALE by the young director Alberto Ferretto, documentary telling with great sensitivity the opening words of an adventure sport - the Andes Trail - which aims to help the Andean native populations. Soon after followed the screening of BETWEEN HEAVEN AND ICE  by Federico Modica, young and dynamic report to an expedition that led slackline between the icebergs of Greenland. Closes the special day the film SOLO DI CORDATA, with a second screening (the first is scheduled for May 2 at 17:00) the important docufilm that director David Riva dedicated to Renato Casarotto, the great Italian alpinist.
