«To be a man is difficult: only a few people succeed». Fausto de Stefani is one of those who succeeded. He is engaged in human issues and he dedicated his life to helping others. He is one of the best mountaineer, who was able to climb all the fourteen Eight-thousanders and nowadays he is devoting himself to children from all over the world. In Italy, in the small village of Pedercini, near Mantua, he set up an open-air workshop for kids where they can get to know and explore nature; while in the magic Fairy-tales Factory kids can dream and adults can become children again. In Nepal, in the small village of Kirtipur, De Stefani made one of his dreams come true, building four schools for more than one thousand children. The Rarahil humanitarian project in Nepal will be completed when a hospital will be built, but we all know that Fausto won't stop after that. At a first glance you may be scared by that man with long beard and hair talking about the uncertain today's life, but if you look beyond and listen to him carefully, you will find a generous high-minded man with great ideas and you will understand why he succeeded in being a man.
