Italy is skialp world champion in the senior women's relay at the Arinsal World Championships in Andorra. On 3rd of March 2021 the team composed of the Montura athlete Ilaria Veronese, Alba De Silvestro and Mara Martini grabbed the gold medal with a time of 37: 00.20. The second place went to the French team while the third place to the Swiss team.
“It is a day to remember, all three of us gave our best – says Ilaria Veronese. We believed so much in the gold medal, but at the World Cup you can't take anything for granted.
The film Kinnaur Himalaya, directed by Emanuele Confortin and sponsored by Montura Editing, won the renowned "Mountain Wilderness” Prize at the 38th Torello Mountain Film Festival.
The jury awarded the prize to the film that best represents the protection of the environment.
