Description

This windstopper jacket is made from a nylon fabric with a DWR treatment for all round mountain protection. By using an abrasion-resistant Pro-Meteo 1 Layer Cordura®, the upper fabric provides added durability so you can focus on the task at hand without fear of ripping. The Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation combines lightweight warmth with adaptable breathability that regulates your body temperature while on the move. The contrasting stretch polyester detail has a hybrid double-weave and high-loft construction for increased comfort and warmth. Finished with two zipped hand pockets and a zipped chest pocket, you can keep small items within reach. Whether taking on a via ferrata or an alpine climb, the unisex Insight Hybrid Jacket keeps you comfortable every step of the way.

Materials

Nylon CORDURA® (49 g/sq.m) fabric with double-ripstop construction and water-repellent treatment, offering protection from wind. Very light, compact and extremely breathable, with excellent mechanical resistance. Does not absorb water and dries quickly, even after frequent washing. CORDURA® products are made from high-technology High-Tenacity textured Polyamide 6.6, to guarantee maximum resistance and duration, light weight and easy care. Even the lightest Cordura® fabric offers twice the abrasion resistance of a normal air-textured nylon fabric. ANTI-UV: UPF50+.

POLARTEC® ALPHA® DIRECT (139 g/sq.m) is an evolution of the original Alpha® technology which eliminates the need to use a direct contact liner. By refining the shape and size of its bulky fibers, Alpha® Direct can be directly in contact with the skin or other layers of fabric. This new design capability increases breathability and further reduces the overall weight of the clothing.
