Finale for Nepal is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization that has supported Nepal since 2009 by promoting charitable initiatives and raising funds through outdoor sports events, with a strong focus on climbing.

Founded in Finale Ligure, Finale for Nepal emerged from the local climbing and outdoor sports community.

Each year, the association organizes a major sporting and solidarity event that serves as the concrete engine of its fundraising activities. Participation - by athletes, spectators, partners, and sponsors - translates directly into support for educational projects and family homes in Nepal, through a hands-on, transparent, and long-term approach.

The aim is to transform a sporting event into real opportunities for children and young people.

The association’s mission is to fund solidarity projects in Nepal, with a strong focus on education, healthcare, and support for local communities. Funds raised through its initiatives are allocated to the construction of schools, the provision of educational materials, the improvement of healthcare facilities, and direct assistance to families in vulnerable conditions.

The projects support family homes and schools in Nepal, ensuring that children receive safe accommodation, access to education, daily meals, and ongoing care. These initiatives address essential needs while guaranteeing educational continuity and long-term support.

La Casa di Ste

A family home for children from remote areas of Nepal. The project provides accommodation, schooling, daily care, and a stable educational pathway.

Himalayan Primary School

Direct support for a local primary school through the provision of educational materials, coverage of school-related costs, and assistance for teaching activities.

Tikapur Family Home

A residential facility for minors in western Nepal, offering educational programs and continuous support in a protected and structured environment.

From May 15 to 17, 2026, Finale Ligure hosts a new edition of Finale for Nepal, the outdoor festival that blends sport and solidarity.

The three‑day program features climbing and bouldering events, with contests for both youth and adults, alongside trail running, trekking, and other outdoor activities open to everyone.

One of the highlights is the Trail Fly on Sunday, May 17: a 12 km race with 550 meters of elevation gain. The event also includes yoga sessions, music, cultural talks, and social gatherings, making it welcoming for families and non‑athletes as well.

At its core, Finale for Nepal aims to raise funds for educational and sports projects supported by the association in Nepal, promoting participation, awareness, and community spirit.
