This waterproof and windstopper shell features three-layer nylon GORE-TEX fabric to keep the elements out. The 28K/<3.5 RET membrane provides excellent waterproof protection whilst remaining highly breathable. A zipped double slider down the front allows for increased ventilation. Reflective elements keep you visible on the mountain. Two zipped hand pockets securely store small items. When not in use, this jacket packs away in the handy integrated stow pocket. The flexible peaked hood keeps rain and snow off your face so you can focus on the task at hand. Plus, the hood is big enough to fit over a helmet so you never have to choose between comfort and safety in extreme alpine environments. Materials

NEW GORE-TEX ACTIVE: 3-layer polyamide fabric (96 g/sq.m) with plain construction. Lighter, softer and quieter than the previous generation thanks to the special laminated fine-knit layer in polyamide 6.6 that is incorporated within the membrane. Excellent waterproofing (28,000 mm water column), breathability (RET < 3.5) and water-repellent properties, it dries quickly and is easy to clean. It offers excellent abrasion resistance and is guaranteed to be permanently waterproof. ANTIUV: UPF50+.
